Natural Stainless has been referred to as an “honest” product.

It began to grace some monumental structures in the the late 1920's such as the Chrysler building in New York City, which is still beautiful after more than 80 years without a sign of corrosion. Stainless Steel has outstanding physical characteristics that make it the toughest material for roof or wall applications.

Stainless Steel is known for it's elegance and endurance. But aside from it's beauty and performance, these metals are also recyclable. Our 304 and 316 stainless steel products contain 75 - 85% post-consumer and post-industrial recycled material. In addition to the recycled content it is 100% recyclable at the end of it's long, beautiful life in your building application.

Standard Alloys

Type 304 alloy, also known as 18-8, exhibits excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of atmospheric exposures. An austenitic stainless, T304 contains around 8% nickel and 18% chromium. Type 304 is our standard alloy.

Type 316 contains molybdenum, which increases corrosion and pitting resistance from chloride ion solutions. T316, also an austenitic stainless, contains around 10% nickel and 18% chromium. Type 316 material is priced at a premium due to its higher nickel content. There is an extended lead time for projects specifying T316.
